Back in Montana, 2007
Okay! We've been back since mid-May (and getting ready to leave again for Estes Park and on to Texas for the Big Wedding (Dan & Lisa). But it's time to update things a bit. Weather has been cool, with lots of rain and overcast (as usual for this time of year). But we've had some good days, too, and once in a while I remember to get out the camera!
The apple tree was in full bloom the first week we were here, followed by a pink bush by the porch that didn't photograph well, so I'm not including a picture.
The latest in flower pleasures are along the road down to the highway (our usual walking route.
The cow pasture always goes through its daisy phase at this time of year, and our "Montana Bluebonnets" are popping out now, too.
Then, there's the obligatory mountain shot. These "road" pictures were taken early this week -- rain here translated to snow in the mountains, which you can see if you look hard. But it is now all gone.

Yay a new post! Beautiful pictures. I can't wait to visit next month!
We love all your family blogs and the great pictures. You are all so computer savy and I am jealous.

How did I miss this entry last month? The pictures are stunning! One of these days Lisa and I have to visit up there!
How are the cool temperatures? Just returned from Ruidosa and wish we were still there with blanket on the bed. Are the fires around you all? Wish we could come your way, my mom has been here, 2 weeks with us and 6 weeks in assisted living, 85 years old and just about starved herself to death. She wants to go home but she must get much stronger, has gained 10 lbs., yeah!!
